WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Christian Anderson rushed for a career-high 119 yards and handed for a landing and Army survived a Western Kentucky rally to take a 38-35 victory on Saturday.
Trailing 35-14 halfway by the second quarter, WKU (1-1) closed the hole to seven factors on Bailey Zappe’s 14-yard move to Jerreth Sterns with slightly below 5 minutes remaining within the sport. However Army (2-0) recovered a WKU onside kick and Cole Talley kicked a 31-yard area purpose, giving the Black Knights the cushion they wanted after the Hilltoppers scored a landing with 21 seconds left.

Whereas WKU was dominant within the air, Army rushed for 339 yards and virtually doubled the Hilltoppers in time of possession.
